Small Business Administration Guaranteed Loans

The Small Business Administration and the State of California offer a number of guarantee programs to help us assist the financing of your small business. GBCIB is active in the following programs that could be right for you:

SBA Express
1. The SBA Express Program was designed for a fast response to the needs of small business. The program offers a quick turn-around-time making this the best way to provide small business borrowers with loans up to $250,000. To have access to the SBA Express loan program, borrowers must first meet certain criteria, which include limits to the size of the business, which types of businesses are eligible, and the use of loan proceeds.

SBA Export Express
2. SBA Export Express Program helps small businesses develop or expand their export markets. Loan proceeds may be used to finance any export development activity, including:

  1. Standby Letters of Credit when required as a bid bond, performance bond or advance payment guarantee
  2. Participation in a foreign trade show
  3. Translation of product brochures or catalogues for use in overseas markets
  4. General lines of credit for export purposes
  5. Transaction-specific financing needs associated with completing actual export orders or service contracts
  6. Purchase of real estate and equipment to be used in the production of goods or services for export
  7. Financing to enable small business concerns, including export trading companies and export management companies, to develop foreign markets
  8. Obtaining, building, renovating, developing or expanding productive facilities or equipment to be used in the production and export of goods or services produced in the United States.
