GBCIB Overdraft Privilege

GBCIB offers our Overdraft Privilege Service on eligible checking accounts. Rather than returning your checks for non-sufficient funds, with this service we will pay your checks up to the overdraft privilege amount.

If you made an error in calculating your checking account balance, or otherwise written a check for more funds than the available balance in the account, you are aware of the expense and problems that this creates. GBCIB offers Overdraft Privilege as a safety net for such circumstances.

GBCIB will pay overdraft drawings up to $750 on qualifying Business accounts and $500 for Personal accounts. This means you could avoid charges from retailers for returned checks, have more convenience and flexibility in managing your funds and less hassle for you. Overdraft Privilege is also for ATM Withdrawals and Debit Card Purchases, as well as Online Banking transactions. GBCIB's usual charges for payments that overdraw your account under this program will apply to each item that would cause an overdraft on your account. You will receive a notice each time an overdraft occurs.
