Brief Job Description: Assists the Marketing Team in all facets of growing and managing a loan portfolio. Loan origination emphasis will be on commercial real estate, export finance and SBA guaranteed loans. Effectively acquires and grows profitable account relationships with moderately complex business customers and real estate investors/owners. Performs effective financial analysis and underwriting in the areas of credit, cash flow and collateral. Effectively partners with other GBC employees and lines of business to deliver good service and the full complement of GBC products and services. Knowledge of EXIM Bank and SBA loan products a plus.

Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of a “B” average. Preferred majors are Finance, Accounting, and Economics, however, candidates with a strong liberal arts education will be considered.
